Service Description

Your dog or puppy will be tested on the 10 AKC Virtual Home Manners skills. Passing dogs/puppies will receive paperwork for submission to the American Kennel Club for titling. (The AKC charges $30 for the Virtual Home Manners title.) How it works: 1. Train your dog on the skills (see checklists at chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://www.akc.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Virtual-Home-Manners-checklist-oct28f.pdf) 2. Make a video of your dog performing the skills (if you prefer to demonstrate the skills via Zoom, contact me and we'll arrange for a time to meet) 3. Email to me at Jill@YourBestBehaviorPA.com the following: a. The link to the video b. Your dog's name c. Your name 4. I issue an invoice for the evaluation service. Upon receipt of payment, 5. I evaluate the skills and sign off on the checklist if your dog/puppy passes 6. You submit your checklist and other required documents to the AKC The AKC requires you to have either an AKC registration number for your eligible purebred dog, a PAL (Purebred Alternative Listing), or an AKC Canine Partners number. You can apply for one of these options at https://www.akc.org/register/information/ under Dog Registration. The AKC charges a separate fee for registration (but this is a one-time fee, and once you have it, it can be used for every AKC title you pursue in the future with your dog).
