Service Description

Proof of up-to-date Rabies and DHPP/DAPP vaccines must be provided prior to the start of class. Runs on Thursdays at 6:30pm, for 6 weeks from October 10th through November 14th. Basic Manners is a foundational class for all dogs 4 months of age and older, focusing on skills that help you and your dog live harmoniously together. Sit, down, stay, recall, and loose-leash walking are covered, as well as enrichment techniques and practical tricks. (No prerequisite) If you took a puppy kindergarten class and your puppy is between 5 months and 1 year old, consider taking Puppy 2 (prerequisite: Puppy Kindergarten). After registration, you will receive a brief intake form so I can make sure this is the right class for you and your dog and learn more about your goals! Complete 5 of the 6 sessions to earn a certificate of completion.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel, please contact me at 717-503-5016 at least 1 week in advance so I have sufficient time to fill your spot in the class. No refunds available for classes cancelled fewer than 7 days prior to the start of class. Please note that if you cancel, there will be a service charge of approximately 3.25% of the class cost assessed to cover the amount my payment processor charges me. Classes may not be made up, but I send detailed homework and I'm happy to answer your questions about missed sessions. Must attend 5 of 6 sessions (or demonstrate your dog's competence at skills learned) in order to receive a certificate of completion.
