Service Description

Please note: You will be required to provide proof of current rabies vaccination and current distemper and parvovirus vaccines PRIOR to the start of class. No exceptions! Calm and Confident is a 7-week class (first session will be without dogs). Based on Leslie McDevitt’s Control Unleashed, this class uses pattern games to help your anxious or overstimulated dog stay focused, feel empowered, and develop a sense of calm confidence around stressors and distractions. Our first session will be WITHOUT DOGS. This session will cover clicker training (clickers will be provided). Class will be limited to 4 dog participants. Barriers may be used as needed to assist with overcoming initial anxiety in class. Some sessions may take place outdoors in a fenced yard (weather permitting). Dogs will work ON LEASH unless off-leash work by one or more dogs is agreed to by ALL participants.
