Service Description

Each session is a stand-alone, themed session. You can participate in one session, multiple sessions, or all 6, and you can repeat sessions as often as you like. You and your dog work at YOUR DOG's level, whether they're brand new to training or a training class veteran. Session 1: Calm Greetings (October 5, November 23, January 25, March 8) - includes focus with distractions; sit; greeting people/jumping; greeting other dogs Session 2: Settling at Home/Home Office (October 12, December 7, February 1, March 15) - includes focus with distractions; down; down-stay; settle on mat Session 3: Out and About (October 19, December 14, February 8, March 22) - includes focus with distractions; leash walking (pulling vs polite walking); leave it; recall Session 4: Company Coming (November 2, December 21, February 15, March 29) - includes focus with distractions; someone's at the door; calm household greetings; settling on a mat (down, down-stay) Session 5: A Walk in the Park/Trip to the Pet Store (these are field trip sessions) (November 9, January 4, February 22, April 5) - includes focus with distractions; recall; leave it; leash walking Session 6: Dinner Time (November 16, January 11, March 1, April 12) - includes focus with distractions; down; leave it; down-stay Please make note of the dates each Session is available so you can select the appropriate date upon registration. Classes are not sequential and you may choose which class(es) and in which order you want to attend. Upon registration you will receive an email that includes an orientation video (tells you everything you need to know to prepare for and participate in class) and a liability release form with the option to upload your dog's vaccination records. You must submit your dog's current vaccination record showing rabies vaccination and DHPP/DAPP (distemper and parvovirus) vaccination PRIOR to the start of class. Dogs without a current vaccination record will not be admitted to class (no exceptions). If you are unable to upload vaccination records in the form via email, please send them to me at jill@yourbestbehaviorpa.com or text clear photos that show current vaccinations, dog's info, and your info as soon as possible. NOTE: these sessions are not appropriate for dogs who display dog-dog or dog-human aggressive behaviors or who are reactive toward people or other dogs. Cancellation Policy

No refund for no-shows. No refund for cancellations within 72 hours of a session (it is unlikely that I can fill your spot within 72 hours of class). Cancellations made 72+ hours in advance will forfeit a $5 administrative fee. Reschedules are permitted 72+ hours in advance. Contact me to cancel at 717-503-5016 at least 72 hours in advance.
