Service Description
PLEASE NOTE BEFORE YOU REGISTER! You may choose to complete the program on your own and then schedule an evaluation of the skills. If this is your preference please DO NOT register for my class. See the program webpage at https://www.petprofessionalguild.com/programs/pet-dog-ambassador/pda-guardians-get-started/ for further instructions. If you intend to train in the class, please read on! Evidence of up-to-date rabies and distemper-parvovirus vaccines must be provided PRIOR to start of class. You will be asked to provide documentation in a post-registration form. No exceptions. Pet Dog Ambassador is a series of advanced manners classes that help you and your dog build the social skills necessary for your dog to be welcome anywhere! Prerequisite: completion of Basic Manners class (or equivalent). PDA Level 2 is a prerequisite for Levels 3 through 5. Skills covered in Level 2: Puppy skills: Go to place, stay 10 seconds Sit at front; sit at side; allow collar grab Level 2 skills: Car manners Doorway manners Leave it Loose leash walking with social interaction Wait to be fed Recall Emergency stop Advanced handling/exam Stay/settle Supervised separation You will receive instructions via email after registration. Please note that the PDA program also requires registration ($5 fee) and completion of a short quiz. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, please contact me at 717-503-5016 at least 1 week in advance so I have sufficient time to fill your spot in the class. No refunds available for classes cancelled fewer than 7 days prior to the start of class. Please note that if you cancel WITH sufficient notice, there will be a service charge of $5 to cover the amount my payment processor charges me. Classes may not be made up, but I'm happy to answer your questions about missed sessions. Must attend 5 of 6 sessions of a 6-week class, 6 of 7 sessions of a 7-week class, and all sessions of a shorter class (or demonstrate your dog's competence at skills learned) in order to receive a certificate of completion.
