AKC FIT Dog First Day Walk - Detweiler Park, Dauphin

Group dog walk for fun, to spend time with your dog, and/or to practice skills. This walk will be a short walk with breaks (because puppies who are fully vaccinated are welcome...but prepared to carry your puppy if necessary) of 2 miles or less of easy walking on dirt or grass trails with frequent roots and occasional rocks on the trails. Grass trails may be wet and may be in full sun (which should be fine in winter, but be aware!). Wear appropriate footwear. Bring poop bags and water (and a bowl) for your dog. Bring water for yourself. There is a portapotty at this location. We'll meet in the parking lot closest to the starting trail (look for my off-white 2008 Ford Escape with "Haulin' Auss" sticker on the rear window). 

Wildlife are often visible at this location and dogs are required to be on-leash.
