AKC FIT Dog Walk - Boyd Big Tree Conservation Area, Dauphin

Group dog walk for fun, to spend time with your dog, and/or to practice skills. Walks will range from 1+ to 3+ miles of moderate walking on earthen trail with frequent roots and rocks on the trails. Wear appropriate footwear. Bring poop bags and water (and a bowl) for your dog. Bring water for yourself. During warmer months there are restroom facilities. We'll meet in the parking lot off of Fishing Creek Valley Rd (approximately 1.5 miles from 322). During hunting season, you and your dog should wear orange.

Wildlife are sometimes visible at this location and dogs are required to be on-leash.

Dogs must be up-to-date on rabies and DHPP vaccines. Bordetella vaccine is recommended as dogs may be in close proximity during the walk. Leptospirosis vaccine is recommended as we will be walking near bodies of water where wildlife live. Tick preventive is essential as we live in…
