AKC FIT Dog Walk - Flickinger's Paws & Claws Mifflintown

Group dog walk for fun, to spend time with your dog, and/or to practice skills. Walk will range from 1-3 miles of easy walking on a paved road. Wear appropriate footwear. Bring poop bags and water (and a bowl) for your dog. Bring water for yourself. We'll meet in the parking lot of Flickinger's Paws & Claws Mifflintown shop.

Dogs must be up-to-date on rabies and DHPP vaccines. Bordetella vaccine is recommended as dogs may be in close proximity during the walk. Leptospirosis vaccine is recommended as we will be walking near bodies of water where wildlife live. Tick preventive is essential as we live in Pennsylvania, the tick-borne illness capital of the country.

If you are interested in joining me, I may do an exploratory walk of the Towpath Trail which extends from the road where we'll be walking FOLLOWING the scheduled walk. The trail is approximately 3 miles total (out and back) next to the river, but I may only do a small piece of it to check it out for a future scheduled walk.
